Hass Peru reinforces its practices as a socially responsible company

The agroindustria Hass Peru implemented a system of ethical and labor management based on international standards to demonstrate its corporate social responsibility and ethical trade along its production chain.

This management model follows the guidelines of the Base ETI code, which guarantees a safe and healthy environment for employees, ensuring freedom of employment, dignified remuneration and respect for labor rights, non-child labor, among others; thus reinforcing the good practices of social responsibility of the company.

"As Hass Peru we are concerned to provide our employees with decent work and in accordance with the regulations of the State because we recognize that they are the most important part of our company," said the head of Human Resources, Magaly Ávila.

Thanks to the implementation of this management system, Hass Peru was able to certify itself as a member of the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit - SMETA (Audit of Ethical Trade to Sedex Members), after the accredited company SIPASS thoroughly reviewed its value chain and verified the High level of commitment of the company to its workers. This achievement is compounded by the recent acquisition of the TESCO certification, which allows it to be an authorized supplier of the UK's largest supermarket chain.
