With the export of 3 million kilos of blueberry to different countries in Europe, Asia and America, the agroindustrial company Hass Perú S.A. culminated its "Blueberry Campaign 2018", which ran from July 2018 to February 2019.
This was a very different campaign compared to the last four years due to the fact that the production was affected by weather conditions that prevented it from having a larger volume. However, despite this, the commitment and dedication of each collaborator allowed Hass Peru to increase its export by 10% compared to 2017.
Also, this agroindustrial company has managed to expand even more in countries like China, where quality is highly valued; turning this market into the second most important client thanks to the fact that its clients support Hass Peru in the export and entry of blueberry to Asia.
It should be noted that China is a market of high demand and demand for blueberry, which has been able to export thanks to the company has a variety much more resistant to transfer, this has allowed Hass Peru to position itself as the third largest producer quality level of blueberry in China and project to continue exporting to that market in the next campaigns.
Finally it is known that during the almost eight months of the campaign it was possible to employ 2,500 people, of indistinct sex and age, who worked hard to achieve the objectives proposed last season since, for Hass Peru, the effort of its collaborators is the main reason for the success of the company.
